Online Payment Applicant Agreement

Terms And Conditions

 

1. Program Fee

  1. Research Associates Program (RAP) charges a Program Fee to cover the many expenses associated with providing a safe and unique research experience in a clinical, direct-patient contact, emergency department environment.
  2. The date/time of receipt of the Program Fee from the Applicant is used to determine the order in which RAs select their shifts for the semester.

2. Methods of Payment

  1. RAP accepts payment through PayPal®, which accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
  2. RAP does not accept cash.
  3. RAP only accepts USD.

3. Due Dates

  1. All Program Fee balances are due on or before the assigned Application Deadline Date.
  2. If the Program Fee is not paid in full by the Application Deadline Date, the Applicant will be deemed not enrolled. In the event of such a scenario, the Applicant may be able to re-enroll for the same program start date so long as the price difference between the amount paid and the amount due is paid. Incomplete payments are not subject to refunds.
  3. If the Applicant needs to extend their payment due date, the Applicant can contact the Recruiting Chief Research Associate at SVMC.Recruiting@RAProgram.org. The Applicant will be notified by the Recruiting Chief if the requested extension is approved. Approval will be granted on a case-by-case basis.  

4. Refunds

  1. The payment of $200.00 for first-time RAs and $50.00 for returning RAs is non-refundable under any circumstance. If a returning RA brings another RA to the program, the returning RA's fee will be exempt.
  2. No refunds will be given for any unused portions of the Program Fee or because of Applicant’s failure or inability to participate in the RAP program.
  3. Contributions from Sponsors or Donors are not refundable under any circumstance.
  4. RAP reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any Applicant at any time prior to start date or to terminate the Applicant’s enrollment. In the unlikely event of such a termination, or if the Applicant has been rejected, the total amount paid to Research Associates Program will not be refunded. RAP will not be responsible to the Applicant for any refund, costs, interest, liability or damages of any kind. The Applicant is solely responsible for any travel fees, charges, expenses or penalties that might result during the applicant’s enrollment in the program or from any termination of or change in the Applicant’s program, whether the Applicant withdraws from the program or it is terminated or altered by RAP.
  5. RAP cannot make exceptions to this termination and refund policy for any reason, including medical emergencies. RAP strongly urges Applicants to thoroughly inquire about the RAP and have all questions and concerns answered by a RAP representative prior to payment submission.
  6. By submitting payment to the RAP via PayPal®, the Applicant acknowledges and agrees to the aforementioned terms and conditions including but not limited to the no-refund policy of RAP as mentioned in the “Refunds” section (Section 4, Clauses 1-6) of the Terms and Conditions agreement.

5. Agreement

  1. By submitting payment to the RAP via PayPal®, the Applicant acknowledges and agrees to the aforementioned Terms and Conditions form in its entirety.

It is $200 for a new RA to join the program for a semester.

It is $50 dollars for a returning RA to join the program for a semester.

If a returning RA brings a new person to the program, the returning RA's fee is EXEMPT for a semester.
