Chief Research Associate

We are always accepting applications for Chief Research Associates (CRA).

This is a very competitive process and the program looks for:

  • individuals that plan on having a post-bac" year before entering medical school
  • a competitve gpa (~3.5)
  • preferably, have taken MCATs with a total score ~30 (with no "7s")
  • not on a medical school "wait list" after 1 April, though exceptions are possible

All of our previous Chiefs have had part- to full-time jobs in addition to their RA work.

Most often, at least one of the Chiefs comes from among candidates who have already served a semester or more as a line RA in the St. Vincent's ED.

Chief Research Associates are NOT paid.

A personal interview (by telephone, if dictated by distance) and formal letter of recommendation from their health professions adviser are required.

We are currently accepting applications for the Chief Research Associate position for the academic year May, 2011 - Aug, 2012.

If you're interested, contact Keith Bradley, MD, Program Director
